We’re an entrepreneurial, fast-moving team working at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, and climate impact.</p><h2>The Role</h2><p>The Executive Assistant and Operations Lead will provide high-impact leverage to the CEO of Capture6, while also owning key operational workflows in People/HR and general operations.</p><p>This is a remote-first role based in the Bay Area, with regular trips into our San Francisco office for key meetings, team sessions, and events, plus periodic travel for company offsites and partner engagements.</p><p>This is an ideal position for an ambitious Executive Assistant / Operations Lead who thrives under pressure, is a self-starter, and is energized by helping a mission-driven climate company scale. You are equally comfortable in the details (calendars, logistics, payroll support) and in more strategic work (prioritization, special projects, and cross-functional coordination).</p><p>You’ll be a central partner to the CEO—helping them focus on what matters most for Capture6’s mission, keeping the trains running on time, and ensuring our people operations and internal processes are smooth, compliant, and well-organized.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>Executive support &amp; calendar strategy</h3><p>• Own end-to-end calendar management for the CEO, coordinating complex meetings across global time zones.</p><p>• Conduct weekly calendar audits, propose adjustments, and run a daily check-in with the CEO on priorities.</p><p>• Prepare briefs, pre-reads, agendas, and follow-up actions for all CEO meetings.</p><h3>Stakeholder communication &amp; representation</h3><p>• Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted representative for the CEO with internal and external stakeholders.</p><p>• Draft and refine communication on behalf of the CEO.</p><p>• Maintain professionalism and discretion at all times, including during evening/weekend needs.</p><h3>People, HR &amp; payroll operations</h3><p>• Coordinate hiring workflows: posting roles, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate communication.</p><p>• Manage onboarding and offboarding, documentation, and system access.</p><p>• Support payroll administration by gathering employment changes and ensuring accuracy.</p><p>• Help coordinate performance review cycles.</p><p>• Maintain HR records, org charts, and compliance documentation.</p><h3>Operations &amp; problem solving</h3><p>• Solve operational and logistical challenges with strong judgment.</p><p>• Manage company and CEO workflows to ensure timely information flow.</p><p>• Support expense reporting, purchasing, and budget tracking.<br></p><h3>Cross-functional coordination &amp; internal rhythm</h3><p>• Coordinate with teams across Operations, Finance, Policy, Partnerships, and Engineering.</p><p>• Manage agendas, notes, and action items for CEO-led meetings.</p><p>• Help design and maintain internal operating rhythms such as weekly reports and team check-ins.</p><h3>Events &amp; special projects</h3><p>• Plan and execute executive events, team onsite/offsite meetings.</p><p>• Manage special projects including research, stakeholder mapping, and process improvements.</p><p>• Seek continuous improvements to executive and company-level efficiency.</p><h2>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</h2><p>• 4+ years of experience in Executive Assistant, Operations, or People/HR roles.</p><p>• Experience supporting C-level executives, ideally a CEO or founder.</p><p>• Startup or fast-paced environment experience preferred.</p><p>• Strong HR/people ops experience including hiring coordination and onboarding.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills and discretion with confidential information.</p><p>• Strong relationship-building skills and remote-first collaboration.</p><p>• Proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to learn new tools.</p><p>• Passion for climate, sustainability, and Capture6’s mission.</p><h2>Skills &amp; Competencies</h2><p>• Executive support &amp; prioritization</p><p>• Calendar &amp; stakeholder management</p><p>• HR coordination &amp; onboarding</p><p>• Payroll change support</p><p>• Written &amp; verbal communication excellence</p><p>• High confidentiality and judgment</p><p>• Travel &amp; event coordination</p><p>• Project management &amp; process improvement</p><p>• Cross-functional coordination</p><p>• Google Workspace proficiency</p>
