AECOM is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications, Global IT team.  This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work to be based in Dallas or Houston, TX.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Document functional and non-functional system requirements; develop test cases and step-by-step test procedures for enterprise-scale projects</li><li>Work closely with business managers, demand managers and end users to understand their processes and procedures</li><li>Identify new innovative solutions to optimize business processes, reduce costs, and/or enhance the customer experience</li><li>Work with the business and IT to gather and document scope and requirements for technology initiatives</li><li>Perform as-is and to-be process mapping and gap analysis, requirements definition, system demos, IT testing, oversight of user testing, and end user training</li><li>Prepare project documentation including requirements documentation, requirements traceability matrix, test scripts/use cases, process maps, wireframes, user training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), user communications, and change control documentation</li><li>May define and present business cases for proposed projects</li><li>Ensure compliance of projects/solutions with key AECOM controls (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley)</li><li>Assist with defining the support model for new systems and facilitates transition of the new system from project resources to support resources</li><li>Assess impact of projects/systems on business processes and facilitate a smooth transition of system and process changes to ensure minimal business disruption</li><li>May participate in evaluation and selection of vendors/solutions including management of proposal/RFP process</li><li>Assist with development of various management/executive presentations to present process improvement solutions, business case, and project progress.</li><li>Gather and translate business requirements into product backlog artifacts including Epics / Features &amp; User Stories. Create and maintain business requirements in the form of user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria.</li><li>Collaborate with the Project Manager, Product Owner, Project Team, ScrumMaster and/or Business Stakeholders to confirm/understand clear business objectives, processes, and metrics for input into User Story definition and prioritization.</li><li>Facilitate User Story mapping sessions with Business Stakeholders, as needed.</li><li>Facilitate and schedule project or scrum meetings, as needed.</li><li>Facilitate user acceptance testing with user feedback and defect tracking, as needed.</li><li>Facilitate collaborative and productive team meetings for a distributed team (e.g. Microsoft Teams).</li><li>Train end users on new application features, as needed.</li></ul>
