AECOM is seeking a part time variable, Safety, Health &amp; Environmental Officer for onsite assignments. The position is based in Billings, MT, with travel to project sites required.  The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Implementing the requirements of AECOM’s Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) in accordance with AECOM, OSHA and Client-specific requirements.</li><li>Generate and/or support team members in preparation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Safe Work Plans (SWPs) in accordance with AECOM and Client standards.</li><li>Perform on-site health and safety orientations for workers and visitor orientations.</li><li>Participate in project team meetings as required and discuss any health and safety related topics.</li><li>Lead daily safety tailgate meetings with AECOM staff and AECOM’s subcontractors on-site.</li><li>Perform on-site health and safety oversight of construction and environmental work.</li><li>Track and monitor the Contractor’s compliance with HASP(s), JHA(s) and SWP(s).</li><li>Perform and submit reports of the Contractors’ Work areas and document non-compliance with the Contractor’s HASPs and JHAs, as required by project.</li><li>Review Contractor’s incident reports for adequacy, participate in meetings related to construction related incidents, and verify all necessary Contractor corrective actions are implemented.</li><li>Implement policies and procedures to assure awareness of and compliance with AECOM and Client health and safety requirements. </li><li>Provide technical leadership and functional guidance to ensure regulatory standards are being enforced. </li><li>Serve in a liaison capacity with other AECOM or Client safety representatives in promoting environmental safety and health activities. </li><li>Communicate programs to enhance employee awareness of prevention and compliance. </li></ul>
