Grow here.  We are seeking passionate Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers with experience in Transmission and Distribution (T&amp;D) to join our teams across our North, Midlands and Scotland Region operating from 8 regional offices, to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects, both nationally and locally. You will be joining a growing team of like-minded people that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions. Here’s what you’ll do:  As an Assistant/Project Manager, you will be expected to support the project  team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects which will include Transmission, Distribution and Power Systems.  This role involves providing client-side project management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle from option studies, option development, construction tender support through to NEC contract administration.  <ul><li>Support the successful delivery of Project Management commissions. </li><li>Ensure commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction. </li><li>Accountable for delivery of projects in a safe &amp; environmentally responsible manner to time, cost and quality. </li><li>Manage multi-disciplinary teams including commercial, programme controls, engineering, and others </li><li>to deliver the client requirements. </li><li>Support the project sponsor in preparing and maintaining definitions of the project requirements.  </li><li>Identify and monitor project risks (threats and opportunities), plan and implement mitigations to </li><li>them, and respond to other issues that affect the project. </li><li>Managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests. </li><li>Managing project reviews at appropriate points throughout the project lifecycle which will inform </li><li>governance decisions of projects by providing evaluations of progress, performance, risk, contingency, and continuing relevance. </li><li>Establish, and implement where necessary, protocols to change the scope of projects and update configuration documents as required. </li><li>Attend project meetings, taking responsibility for minuting and leading discussions towards resolutions. </li><li>Accountable for the production and maintenance of project documentation, including timelines, resource allocation, project execution strategies and reports. </li><li>Provide support to SPM on contract management services on NEC4 contracts, administering through a contract management system. </li><li>Ensure compliance with the Construction Design Management Regulations Act of 2015. </li><li>Advise the client on procurement strategies and review tender documentation. </li><li>Assist in the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary Transmission, Distribution and Power Systems projects.</li><li>Actively manage subcontractors and resources remote from the core project team  </li><li>Develop strong relationships with clients and members of the cross-functional team  </li><li>Support business development opportunities with existing and new clients  </li></ul>
