AECOM is seeking a Principal Engineer- HVAC(Energy Modelling) based in Bengaluru/Gurgaon, India.  Candidates will be responsible for the following activities:<ul><li>Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.</li><li>Experience in UK, UAE, US, Canada, ANZ (preferred).</li><li>Designs and develops plumbing systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.</li><li>Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team</li><li>Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise</li><li>Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others</li><li>Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables</li><li>Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects</li><li>Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&amp;E package</li><li>Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings</li><li>Prepares technical specification sections</li><li>Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements</li><li>Leads HVAC system design for complex commercial, residential, and data center projects</li><li>Conducts energy modeling and analysis to optimize HVAC system performance</li><li>Collaborates with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions</li><li>Develops and implements sustainable design strategies to meet energy efficiency goals</li><li>Oversees the selection and sizing of HVAC equipment and components</li><li>Ensures compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and other relevant regulations</li><li>Mentors junior engineers and provides technical guidance to the HVAC design team</li><li>Participates in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions</li><li>Conducts site visits to assess existing conditions and verify installation of HVAC systems</li><li>Troubleshoots and resolves complex HVAC design issues during construction and commissioning phases</li></ul>
