Our partners include UberEats, Amazon, JustEat Takeaway, Doordash, FedEx and many more.Expect to join a high-performing team that wants to lead the charge towards carbon-neutral cities.About the Role:The e-bike mechanic is a critical, customer-facing role at Zoomo, directly fuelling our operational success. We are looking for a customer-obsessed problem solver who demonstrates a high level of drive, commitment and a proactive work ethic. You will be the essential link ensuring our customers have a seamless and exceptional experience. The work will primarily involve performing maintenance, repairs and diagnostics, both at Zoomo service sites and on-location at customer premises.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Safety inspection of e-bikes at customer sites and documentation of checks on Zoomo systems.</li><li>Repair and servicing of bikes to the highest of standards as expected by Zoomo.</li><li>Diagnose required services, fault find and service Zoomo e-bikes to enable them to return to the rider in a safe and fully operational condition.</li><li>Perform inspections on available fleet and returns to ensure no cosmetic damage, all electronics components and other essential components are fully functioning.</li><li>Ensure that the workshop is kept tidy and in tip-top shape.</li><li>Promote our values when interacting with riders and suppliers.</li><li>You will serve as a Zoomo ambassador and on-site representative at our customer locations, ensuring our brand and product are consistently presented to the highest standard.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Required:</li><ul><li>Experience working as a bike mechanic (electric or not), we are willing to consider candidates coming from other fields such as car or motorcycle mechanics.</li><li>Ability and drive to work independently with little or no direct supervision</li><li>Flexibility to work shifts and remotely in different sites</li><li>To be able to work as part of a team, collaborating with the Zoomo teams worldwide</li><li>A passion for bikes!</li></ul><li>Nice to have:</li><ul><li>Cytech Level 2 bicycle mechanics training or equivalent would be ideal but not essential.</li><li>A full UK driving licence and a motorbike licence and/or CBT</li><li>Working knowledge of how bikes are assembled and repaired</li><li>Familiarity with all types of bikes and accessories</li><li>Experience with e-bikes or lithium ion batteries</li><li>Relevant industry experience (cycling, food delivery, mobility, technology)</li></ul></ul>BenefitsWe offer you the chance to be part of a team at the cutting edge of the world’s electrification journey, including:<ul><li>Working with a switched-on team that strives to make the streets greener and serve the rider</li></ul><ul><li>Annual Salary £29,087 to £33,425 (depending on experience)</li><li>Fast growth and career progression</li><li>Global and country-specific benefits packages/perks</li><li>Monthly team outings &amp; events</li><li>Free e-bike subscription</li><li>Annual learning and development allowance</li><li>Mental wellbeing support </li></ul>Zoomers currently represent 45 nationalities and we celebrate diversity and inclusion with equal opportunities for all. #LI-ONSITE

Zoomo is a provider of electric bikes accessed via subscription models to help gig workers in the food delivery industry.
