Reporting to the Director of Accounting-General Ledger, this role demands exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Prepares for month and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytical review, utilizing accounting knowledge</li><li>Ensures the accuracy, completeness, and conformance of accounting transactions to departmental, organizational, and compliance policies and standards</li><li>Performs activities within a public company's internal control environment, in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, to maintain organizational compliance</li><li>Manages stakeholder requests, researching and responding to complex inquiries, and escalating as necessary</li><li>Applies strong accounting knowledge, acumen, and technical expertise</li><li>Collaborates with business partners to understand new activities and provide financial guidance</li><li>Supports internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations</li><li>Participates in special projects, including initiatives for process improvement</li><li>Undertakes additional tasks to contribute to the team's overall objectives and key results</li></ul>What You'll Need  Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field</li><li>2+ years of general accounting experience</li><li>An associate's degree in accounting with 3-6 years of significant progressive experience in accounting would be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>CPA certified or equivalent</li><li>Public accounting experience</li><li>Strong understanding of general accounting principles and internal controls</li><li>Proficient in accounting software (Blackline, BNA, Coupa, Intacct, Workiva, or Workday experience preferred)</li><li>Advanced computer skills (Google and/or MS Office suites), including spreadsheet data analysis</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach, keen attention to detail, and critical thinking</li><li>Excellent communication (written, verbal, and listening) and collaborative skills for effective interaction with diverse personalities internally and externally</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Proven ability to work under pressure and meet goals and targets</li><li>Self-motivated with a propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement</li><li>High level of integrity</li></ul>Travel Requirements &amp; Working Conditions<ul><li>Minimal travel requirements</li><li>Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office</li></ul>How You’ll Be Rewarded✅ Salary range in the US: $68,000.00 - $108,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
