Job Description:Senior Electrical Engineer – eBOS Product Development: Supports the design, development, and delivery of electrical balance of system (eBOS) products across NextPower’s portfolio. This role bridges technical engineering work with cross-functional collaboration, helping to translate market and customer needs into manufacturable, high-quality solutions.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in electrical engineering, combined with strategic insight and the ability to work effectively across teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.<ul><li>Contribute to the development and integration of eBOS components, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.</li><li>Translate product and market requirements into engineering specifications, drawings, and validation plans.</li><li>Support design reviews, certification activities, and prototype testing through production release.</li><li>Partner with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure design-for-manufacturing and smooth transition to production.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.</li><li>8+ years of experience in product development, electrical systems, or energy-related engineering.</li><li>Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and business teams.</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Experience with solar or renewable energy systems, particularly eBOS components.</li><li>Familiarity with product certification processes and electrical design validation.</li><li>Experience supporting design-to-manufacturing or product lifecycle management initiatives.</li><li>Comfort working in a global, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.</li></ul>At Nextpower, we are driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.
