We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in support of month-end closing activities for multiple business units, using BlackLine, and ensuring proper documentation is obtained</li><li>Record Fixed Asset updates and disposals in Oracle Fixed Asset Module/SAP Module</li><li>Reviewing the FA mailbox for tickets of Additions and disposals requested by BU and processing it in Oracle Fixed Asset Module/SAP Module</li><li>Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger identifying and correcting out of balances, addressing their causes, resolving the possibility of future issues</li><li>Invoicing in AGIS for Evoqua unit.</li><li>Respond to inquiries regarding general ledger balances</li><li>Running preliminary &amp; Final depreciation run.</li><li>Processing of month end accrual entries &amp; CIP clearing accounts.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as requested</li><li>Assist with interim and annual audits</li><li>Maintain applicable SOX controls</li><li>Ensure all supporting documentation is in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines</li><li>Consistently evaluate areas for process improvement.</li></ul>Key Competencies:<ul><li>Good learning attitude</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Compliance and integrity</li><li>Asking questions when in doubt</li></ul><ul><li>Team management</li><li>Good interpersonal skills</li><li>Sound accounting knowledge</li></ul>Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:Required Qualifications:<ul><li>CA/Inter CA/CMA/Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance preferably with additional professional qualifications</li><li>1-3 years of relevant work experience in journal accounting</li><li>Experience in manufacturing preferred</li><li>Must possess strong analytical skills</li><li>Competency with Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel functions</li><li>Experience with Oracle or other ERP accounting systems and fixed asset software</li><li>Experience with Blackline Journal Entries and Reconciliation modules a plus</li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment and with teams in different countries</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
