Maintenance operations may take place in the garage or at field locations during various work schedules depending on business needs.Responsibilities<ul><li>Performs preventative maintenance (PM) inspections on light &amp; medium duty vehicles/equipment and assists higher classification of technicians with PM’s on all vehicles and equipment.</li><li>Performs required State emission inspections.</li><li>Assists with Federal DOT inspections.</li><li>Adheres to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) for DOT inspections.</li><li>Provides assistance on dielectric test inspections.</li><li>Performs diagnostics and repairs on light and medium vehicles, (gas &amp; diesel) forklifts, trailers, and powered equipment.</li><li>Maintains the appropriate level of technical competence required to diagnose and repair vehicles/equipment.  </li><li>Performs hydraulic brake systems and component repairs.</li><li>Assists with hydraulic component repairs.</li><li>Assists with air brake system inspections and repairs.</li><li>Assists higher classification of technicians with diagnostics and repairs on all vehicles/equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs basic electric system components, cranking, lighting, charging and assist with basic A/C systems and component repairs.</li></ul>Basic/Required Qualifications:Note: This posting is for one open position.
