Main responsibilities may include:<ul><li>Assist with quarterly financial statements and reporting</li><li>Review, investigate and correct discrepancies and irregularities in financial entries, documents and reports</li><li>Prepare variance account analysis and related schedules</li><li>Maintain general ledger for corporate entities </li><li>Execute full-cycle accounting transactions</li><li>Connect with key stakeholders in the business to obtain approvals </li><li>Assist with the coordination and execution of audits </li><li>Prepare correspondences, gather and summarize information for routine investor requests </li><li>Support initiatives to improve processes and operational efficiency and enhanced internal controls</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Working towards a Bachelor’s degree with a focus or major in Accounting or Finance</li><li>Interest in pursuing an accounting designation (CPA) is an asset </li><li>Proficient with MS Office (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li><li>Superior interpersonal skills, communication skills (oral and written) and takes initiative </li><li>Organized, always on the ball and able to effectively prioritize to meet deadlines</li><li>Self-motivated and open-minded, with a willingness to learn foster relationships </li><li>Professionalism.
