In addition, the material handler is responsible for operating all material support equipment and performing all material support functions (receiving, stocking, delivering,, and shipping) in assigned operations facility.</h3>Essential Duties:<ul><li>Efficiently locate and pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned areas to maintain inventory levels for production</li><li>Ability to accurately verify parts and quantities and complete BOL’s to receive and/or ship material</li><li>Operate all material handling equipment (stand-up, sit-down, combi, lancer, tugger) in assigned operations facility</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 5S standards</li><li>Use best practices to follow all safe procedures in operation of various material support equipment</li><li>Utilize computer equipment to interact with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to record inventory transactions as they are completed</li><li>Other duties, as assigned</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to become forklift certified</li><li>Basic computer, math, and reading skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes</li><li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>At least six months of applicable position experience</li><li>Experience using warehouse technology or electronics</li></ul>Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
