What you will do: Responsibilities for the Regional Engineer are to support our plants with Shipping &amp; Formation to aid in OEE improvements, New Product Launches, Equipment Qualifications and Equipment Development for the Future. As well as Support &amp; Mentor plant Engineering Teams with critical issues / challenges that are putting them at risk.  How you will do it: <ul><li>Accountable Subject Mater Expert in the Shipping &amp; Formation Process of Lead Acid Batteries as well as AGM &amp; EFB in multiple plants throughout the US. Aid in troubleshooting, qualifications &amp; implementations of equipment from suppliers to the shop floors.</li><li>Support critical issues at any given plant that requires support to meet or correct major issue in the plants from meeting targets.</li><li>Work with Plant &amp; Corporate Maintenance &amp; TPM Teams to standardize on TPM activities &amp; Spare Part Inventories. Work to improve OEE and maximize throughput in the Shipping &amp; Formation Areas.</li><li>Lead Advanced Manufacturing activities for New Technologies &amp; Automation Opportunities and development of SSOW’s. Aid in conducting MQ1 through MQ3 Equipment Qualifications &amp; Plant Implementations.</li><li>Support CAPEX Projects for Capacity Expansions &amp; Launches throughout the network following the D3 Process in the Shipping &amp; Formation Area.</li><li>Deployment of approved ETC (equip and tool change release) across plants. Guide plant Manufacturing Engineers on execution of SSOW, Layout, flow, PFMEA, PHIL &amp; Machine Qualification.
