Apply today and become part of the team which is helping to shape the future of electricity generation.EOE M/F/D/VJob Responsibilities* Perform supply chain and logistics functions, which may include, but are not limited to, material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution.* Create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers.* Focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goal on a regular basis.* Promote alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization, with the Supply Chain group including Supply Chain, Logistics, and Materials Management.* Required knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.* Build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.* Solve a range of straightforward problems is essential.* Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures is necessary.* Receive a moderate level of guidance and direction is preferred.* Perform related job duties as assigned.Below are the requirements for the different progression levels.BuyerBasic Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of buying experience is required.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and databases is essential</li><li>Negotiation and analytical skills are necessary</li><li>Must possess effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Must have demonstrated problem-assessment and problem-solving skills</li><li>Must possess a strong customer service focus, with ability to build credibility with internal clients and external suppliers</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>MBA or other advanced degree, or CPM certification.</li><li>Background in Lean and/or Six Sigma</li><li>Strong Customer Service Focus</li><li>Strong Leadership Skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills for interface with individuals at all levels.</li></ul>  Note: You will have an opportunity to add attachments to your application.
