You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Raleigh office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.AECOM's transportation team in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Entry-Level Bridge Engineer to work in the bridge/structures group.The Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Assisting with the completion of field inspections and reporting on a regular basis of in-service bridges throughout North Carolina</li><li>Assist in the design and plan preparation for new and replacement bridges and structures in North Carolina and throughout the southeast region.</li><li>Develops an awareness of standard practices, techniques, and procedures under supervision.</li><li>Researches alternate solutions and design options in support of the project team, e.g. white paper research, code review.</li><li>Provides analysis to support development of design ideas and solutions.</li><li>Communicates and collaborates with full design team and others.</li><li>Supports and assist the development of work products such as specifications, drawings, Aand illustrative graphics.</li><li>Follows specific, detail instructions and set of technical approach for design. </li><li>Develops details, edit specific and an awareness of QMS procedures. </li><li>Assists in preparation of designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and working drawings.</li></ul>
