Here sis what you will be doing:Technical Excellence:<ul><li>Conducts assignments in the mechanical engineering field</li><li>Has a very good understanding of building codes and standards</li><li>Can integrate and coordinate designs with other built environment disciplines</li><li>Understands the statutory processes associated with the built environment and construction industry</li><li>Plans, organises and manages moderately complex projects</li><li>Makes recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems</li><li>Prepares and presents technical plans and reports</li><li>Institutes changes in methods, designs or equipment</li><li>May be Project leader on medium sized projects</li><li>Collects and analyses information from discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models.</li><li>Fully develops the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high-quality outputs by following project timelines.</li><li>Participates in the interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables, including BIM spatial reviews (virtual walkthroughs and clash detection).</li><li>Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, specifications, sketches, diagrams, specific discipline BIM models, drawings, reports, and tender documents.</li><li>Identifies discrepancies in results and proposes an approach to solving new problems encountered.</li><li>Performs work under the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.</li><li>Maintains and develops the highest level of technical skills and abilities, ensuring the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams for accuracy to design instructions.</li><li>Coordinates with authorities for scheme approvals.           </li></ul>                                              Client Relationship Management:<ul><li>Build and maintain client relationships.</li><li>Attends client meetings as technical support to gather information and discuss project requirements, explain/ defend work, etc.</li><li>Participates in the development and preparation of bids and proposals—the ability to present solutions to clients in a professional and technically competent manner.</li></ul>
