They must possess a general knowledge of mission critical directives and situations surrounding the building, process equipment, all areas inside the walls of the facility, lift assemblies, conveyors, etc.  They must help to develop strategies to meet team and company goals.  Reports to the various supervisors and managers throughout the production organization. The Technician must possess a working knowledge of standard automotive OEM process equipment, and related systems, be a problem solver, and be communicative and proactive in the execution of daily activities. Contribute to day-to-day operations and create reports to update the company in the event it is required. Must be able to perform under pressure, lead large teams, remain dynamic and understand urgency. The Technician must be able to practice teamwork and team building within our organization.<br><br>You Will</p><div><ul><li>Operate and maintain various process equipment and building utilities across multiple shops.</li><li>Possess strong knowledge of PLCs, programming, and advanced troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Mentor and guide maintenance team members on a daily basis.</li><li>Maintain expertise in utilities and building systems, including electrical and mechanical components.</li><li>Apply knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, and mechanical theories for effective troubleshooting and problem analysis.</li><li>Understand cranes, hoists, and related support equipment operations.</li><li>Manage chemical treatment programs and ensure proper documentation for all processes.</li><li>Support other departments to meet production requirements and efficiency goals.</li><li>Establish and adjust work schedules to align with production and repair needs.</li><li>Enforce process compliance, safety regulations, and continuous improvement initiatives for equipment and operations.</li></ul></div><p>You Bring</p><div><ul><li>High School diploma or GED required.Minimum 4+ years of process equipment maintenance experience or equivalent training.</li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent standing, stooping, and walking.Experience with PLC, BMS, or other logic platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens).</li><li>Advanced robot programming skills and troubleshooting expertise.</li><li>Hands-on experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and repair.Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, electrical prints, and technical documentation.</li><li>Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, water/air systems, and building construction.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with solid electrical/electronics knowledge.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial power distribution systems, controls, and safety precautions.</li></ul></div></div><div> </div><div> <p><strong>Essential Physical Requirements<em>: </em></strong></p><ul><li> <strong>Standing and Walking:  </strong>Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift on hard surfaces in a production environment.</li><li> <strong>Manual Dexterity: </strong>Frequent use of hands for handling tools, assembling components, and operating machinery.
