Established to unlock the potential of offshore wind across the globe, our talented team, exciting pipeline and solid capital commitment give us the potential to become one of the world’s most successful offshore wind companies. We entered the market with a portfolio of operational and development assets, alongside the resources, capabilities and resilience to deliver offshore wind energy at scale.  Why this role matters As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in building a robust internal audit capability from the ground up.In this role you will: <ul><li>Executing the roadmap for establishing the Internal Audit function within JERA Nex bp.</li><li>Ensuring effective internal audit methodology and processes.</li><li>Preparing a risk-based internal audit plan.</li><li>Executing internal audit engagements, formulating actionable recommendations, and drafting clear, concise audit reports.</li><li>Monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations and action plans.</li><li>Collaborating with external audit consultants, where appropriate.</li><li>Reporting to the Audit Committee, providing independent and objective assurance on whether key risks are being effectively managed within the company’s defined risk appetite.</li><li>Supporting the continuous improvement of the internal control environment.</li><li>Optionally, contributing to First Party Audits for ISO certifications (ISO 9001, 27001, 14001, 45001).</li></ul>To be successful in the role you will bring:  We are looking for a proactive and experienced audit professional who can operate independently and strategically.
