We want you to have a sense of belonging and feel valued for your contributions and the perspectives you bring.</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><b>Summary:&nbsp; </b></span></div><div><span>The Industrial Controls and SCADA (IC&amp;S) Network Administrator is responsible for applying the Operational Technology (OT)/ Industrial Control System (ICS)/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Network engineering program for the generator side of renewable energy power plants. This role is responsible for overseeing, executing, and/or supporting execution of engineering deliverables throughout all phases of a project, from the basis of design to turnover and operations; &nbsp;this includes following design templates, functional specifications, inspection plans, demarcation of responsibilities, handover management, and functional acceptance tests for site communication network equipment including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, transceivers, media converters, physical mediums, and other communications networking systems in the renewable energy generation scope to create project specific designs, documentation, and implementation.&nbsp; <br><br></span></div><div><span>This role will be hybrid requiring a minimum of 3 days in office.</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><b>Requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </b></span></div><ul><li><span>Provides guidance to Project Managers, RES OT team, Owners, Integrators and others as needed, for OT/ICS/SCADA communications network functions associated with renewable energy power plants.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Provides guidance integrating communications network functions of wind, battery, and solar power systems to their associated substation, utility, and balancing authority.</span></li><li><span>Creates and reviews designs for Wind, PV, BESS, and PV+BESS OT/ICS/SCADA Communications Networks that align with regional, owner, regulatory, and contractual requirements for renewable energy power plant SCADA systems.</span></li><li><span>Collaborates with RES project managers to aggregate site requirements, create designs for construction, deliver procurement/deployment plans, create timelines, and control costs.</span></li><li><span>Partners with customers and subcontractors to ensure requirements, regulatory compliance, and expectations of key stakeholders are met.&nbsp; </span></li><li><span>Collaborates with other engineers to make sure renewable energy power plant communications network functions are incorporated, and meet generation, substation, utility, regional, contract, and owner requirements.</span></li><li><span>Deploys OT/ICS/SCADA communications network solutions according to timelines and budget.</span></li><li><span>Troubleshoot problems until site requirements are met.</span></li><li><span>Reviews, inspects, and validates communications network equipment to verify design criteria are incorporated and systems function as anticipated.</span></li><li><span>Works closely with the client teams, as well as RES project managers, construction managers, electrical managers, and project engineers to guarantee a quality system is installed and tested to RES, owner, contract, and regulatory specifications.</span></li><li><span>Ensures that OT/ICS/SCADA communications network systems have been installed per RES, owner, contract, and regulatory requirements and tested to meet QSE, Utility, Substation, and regional reliability council requirements.</span></li><li><span>Supports the operations group throughout the life of the facility to maintain reliability of the energy facility on the grid.</span></li><li><span>Maintains project and department documentation in RES documentation control software.</span></li><li><span>Ensures SAFETY requirements are met.</span></li><li><span>Operates Company aligned vehicle for site visits.</span></li><li><span>Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.</span></li><li><span>Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies &amp; Procedures.</span></li></ul><div><span><b>Additional Responsibilities:</b></span></div><ul><li><span>Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.</span></li></ul><div><span><b>Qualifications: </b></span></div><ul><li><span>Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or information technology and at least 3 years' experience (or 5 years of OT/ICS/SCADA Communications Network experience) required.</span></li><li><span>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or information technology and at least 1 year of experience preferred.</span></li><li><span>1 or more years of proven OT/ICS/SCADA communications network experience that includes a track record of working on capital intensive construction projects required. </span></li><li><span>Ability to travel domestically 16 to 30% required.</span></li><li><span>Must possess a valid Driver’s license. </span></li><li><span>Intermediate experience with switches, routers, firewalls, transceivers, media converters, physical mediums, and other communications networking systems in electrical generation projects.</span></li><li><span>Intermediate experience with regulatory compliance and communications networking best practices is required. </span></li><li><span>Field experience testing/commissioning communications network functions in generational facilities that integrate power plants to utilities across multiple regions is a plus.</span></li><li><span>Junior level experience with communications network designs, inspections, and functionality testing.</span></li><li><span>Basic knowledge of historians and data acquisitions.</span></li><li><span>Intermediate knowledge of communications network protocols for base-level devices: Modbus, Modbus TCP, OPC, DNP3, SEL-Fast, IEC 61850, ICCP, etc.</span></li><li><span>Basic experience with automation control device integration.</span></li><li><span>Basic experience with complete OT/ICS/SCADA system project life cycles: Basis of design, design, procurement, construction/configuration, testing/commissioning, turnover, and operations.</span></li><li><span>Basic experience with Power Utility scale system development and design.</span></li><li><span>Basic experience with factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and other functional verification testing used to document equipment functionality. </span></li><li><span>Basic knowledge of generation meters, substation integration requirements, protection relays, inverters, and other electrical equipment used in renewable energy power plant systems.</span></li><li><span>Intermediate knowledge of NERC CIP requirements.</span></li><li><span>Basic knowledge of regional Balancing Authority, and Local Utility requirements.&nbsp; </span></li><li><span>Intermediate knowledge of Power Plant Networking, Security, and Firewalls.</span></li><li><span>Ability to communicate complex concepts to key stakeholders in a collaborative fashion.</span></li><li><span>Working knowledge of the renewable energy industry and projects a plus.</span></li><li><span>Familiarity with and ability to stay current on SCADA regulations and standards.</span></li><li><span>Functional competencies include attention to detail, drive, collaboration, prioritization, and continuous improvement.</span></li></ul><div><span><b>Anticipated base salary range:</b>&nbsp; $78,000 - $97,000</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
