Job Description:<ol><li>Candidate should understand:</li></ol><ul><li>Sound understanding and applying conceptual mechanical knowledge.  </li><li>Basic design Calculation of Hydro Turbines, MEP system of hydroelectric power projects.</li><li>Preparation of Process &amp; Instrumentation Diagrams for mechanical systems like HVAC, Cooling water system, Fire protection system, Drainage &amp; Dewatering system etc.</li><li>Preparation of Plant layout drawings of Hydro Electric &amp; Pump Turbine Stations</li><li>Preparation of Tender Specifications &amp; Bid Evaluation of Hydro Turbines &amp; Mechanical Systems</li><li>Hand experience to work on SIMSEN software and perform transient analysis</li><li>Review of Computed Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and stress analysis of the hydro equipment components</li><li>Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at vendor works. Assist inspections during testing and evaluate test results of equipment, both if necessary. Also, perform Final inspections at the Manufacturer’s workshop when required by the project.</li><li>High level of competency in Preparation Design Basis reports, Technical Due Diligence reports and Site Equipment Inspections</li><li>Review of Detail Engineering drawings &amp; documents of Major Equipment &amp; Mechanical Systems.</li><li>Strong knowledge in one or several Hydro products / components/ Systems.</li><li>Hands on experience in execution of engineering of hydro projects &amp; detailed know how on hydro Turbine technology &amp; design.</li><li>Participation in the meeting with the internal &amp; External Stakeholders</li><li>Review and preparation of Equipment construction schedule in MS-Project</li><li>Exercise technical discretion and decision making; address &amp; resolve site &amp; customer related issues.</li><li>Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort to maintain healthy group dynamics.</li><li>Good Coordination with all other engineering disciplines for interface and other works.</li><li>Shall be able to resolve any technical issue during execution of project with interfacing functions.</li><li>Apply all the relevant HSE requirements and criteria in the engineering work and decisions.</li></ul> <ol><li>Software</li></ol><ol><li>AutoCAD</li><li>MS Office</li><li>SIMSEN</li></ol>
