Project Delivery Lead - Digital Port Solutions

Are you ready to jump onboard?&nbsp;The&nbsp;Project Delivery Lead – Digital Port Solutions is a senior delivery professional responsible for leading complex port-digitalisation projects across our global portfolio, including PMIS, Pilotage Dispatch, Port Community System integrations, and mobile applications for marine service providers.&nbsp;This role provides hands-on leadership to Business Analysts, Project Managers (PM), and technical specialists. It ensures robust project governance, customer satisfaction, solution quality, and strong coordination across multi-disciplinary teams.&nbsp;The ideal candidate brings direct port-industry experience, preferably with hands-on involvement in harbour master operations, port authority digital projects, pilotage, towage, berth planning, or marine operations. They must have experience delivering multi-phase digital transformation projects with operational and technical complexity.&nbsp;This position requires the successful candidate to work on-site at our downtown Vancouver office four days per week.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities&nbsp;1. Project Leadership &amp; Delivery Execution<ul><li>Lead end-to-end delivery of Digital Port Solutions (PMIS, Pilotage Dispatch, mobile apps, PCS integrations).</li><li>Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, schedule tracking, and milestone delivery.</li><li>Establish strong governance routines and transparent project reporting.</li><li>Drive cross-functional alignment and remove delivery roadblocks.</li></ul>&nbsp;2. Team Leadership &amp; Capability Development<ul><li>Provide leadership and coaching to Business Analysts, Project Managers, and technical workstreams.</li><li>Strengthen delivery methodology, templates, and internal standards.</li><li>Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul>&nbsp;3. Customer &amp; Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Act as the primary delivery focal point for Harbour Masters, Port IT, Marine Operations, Pilots, and senior port stakeholders.</li><li>Build trusted customer relationships and manage expectations within complex environments.</li><li>Lead steering committee meetings, requirement clarification sessions, and high-level scope discussions.</li></ul>&nbsp;4. Technical &amp; Domain Understanding<ul><li>Strong understanding of port operational workflows: vessel calls, berth planning, pilotage, towage, marine services, billing, port-call optimisation.</li><li>Work closely with architects and SMEs to ensure technical feasibility and alignment.</li></ul>&nbsp;5. Financial &amp; Contractual Management<ul><li>Supervise and manage delivery margins, cost tracking, invoicing milestones, and change orders.</li><li>Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and support commercial clarifications.</li><li>Contribute to pre-sales by providing delivery estimates, risk analysis, and resource planning.</li></ul>&nbsp;6.
