About the RoleAs a Senior Field Engineer, you’ll spearhead Tomorrow.io’s on-site technical operations for a high-profile, fast-moving global technology project. This role is primarily a hands-on Field Engineering position, focused on deployments and on-site technical execution. You’ll oversee the deployment, operation, and maintenance of Tomorrow.io’s weather systems, including radar and weather stations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and reliably across multiple international sites. Approximately 60% of this role will require international travel to customer locations.<h1>What You’ll Do</h1><ul><li>Lead and execute on-site technical teams during global operations. </li><li>Manage the deployment, installation, calibration, operation, and disassembly of weather systems and radars. </li><li>Own installation, calibration, operations, and troubleshooting in the field  </li><li>Ensure technical readiness and uptime before, during, and after events. </li><li>Handle field logistics, including transporting equipment, setup coordination, and on-site troubleshooting. </li><li>Coordinate logistics, equipment handling, and on-site technical teams. </li><li>Serve as the primary on-site point of contact during field activities. </li><li>Translate customer requirements into clear technical solutions and deployment plans. </li><li>Work with engineering, product, and meteorology teams to define configurations and integrations. </li><li>Support customer discussions, clarify system capabilities, and document solution designs. </li><li>Ensure deployed systems meet technical, operational, and customer needs. </li><li>Represent Tomorrow.io in the field with professionalism, precision, and technical excellence. </li><li>Work cross functionally to bring resolution to customer projects.</li></ul><h1>What You Bring </h1><ul><li>4+ years of experience working in SaaS, B2B, customer-facing role</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with field systems, communications, or instrumentation deployment</li><li>Hands-on, practical mindset, able to solve complex issues in dynamic conditions</li><li>Ability to design solutions involving hardware, software, and data flows</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills in dynamic environments</li><li>Proven leadership and coordination skills for managing small field team</li><li>Clear communication and customer-facing technical presentation abilities</li><li>Independent, proactive, and resourceful, someone who gets things done</li><li>BSc in Engineering (Electrical, Software, etc.)</li><li>Valid driver’s license and comfort managing logistics and equipment transport</li><li>Frequent international travel, this is a core part of the role with approximately 60% travel required to customer sites</li><li>Prior experience in technical field operations, communications, or systems engineering (military or commercial) is a plus </li></ul><h1>Join Tomorrow.io’s Global Field Team</h1>At Tomorrow.io, we’re transforming how the world understands and acts on weather.
