Are you ready to be a part of a team committed to changing the world?</p></div><h2><strong>Who You Are</strong></h2><p>As a Staff Accountant on the Finance team, you will be primarily responsible for the company’s day-to-day accounting processes including cash, investments and accounts payable. You will also be participating in other accounting related month end tasks while aligning with company policies and ensuring all supplier invoices are accurately documented, recorded, authorized, and paid timely. </p><h2><strong>Responsibilities and Duties  </strong></h2><ul><li>Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end close and support annual audit and tax preparation</li><li>Maintain accurate bank transactions, including investments and credit card activity and oversee day-to-day accounting functions</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing accounting inquiries and resolving issues both internally and externally</li><li>Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines</li><li>Support weekly payment run and posting of payments</li><li>Process invoices promptly and appropriately to ensure accuracy, validity and timeliness of payments</li><li>Maintain vendor accounts with up to date information such as W9s and banking details</li><li>Support 1099 yearly tax return filings</li></ul><h2><strong>Knowledge and Skill Requirements </strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field</li><li>3-4 year experience in Corporate Accounting</li><li>A self-starter with a strong focus on detail and accuracy, consistently delivering high-quality work aligned with task requirements</li><li>Curious by nature and driven to learn</li><li>Proactive mindset</li><li>Effectively navigates dynamic environments, manages multiple responsibilities, and collaborates with colleagues at all levels</li><li>Proficient knowledge of Macintosh computers, Google Sheets, and Excel</li><li>ERP and P2P system experience is strongly preferred (Sage X3, Coupa, Ramp)</li></ul><h2><strong>Physical Demands and Working Conditions</strong></h2><ul><li>Move long distances (such as from building to building) and be stationary for extended periods of time</li><li>Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location</li></ul><p>The starting base pay for this role is between $86,000 and $108,000 at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills.
