Role Summary:Oversees on-site installation of ICT and ELV systems to confirm alignment with design specifications, standards, and integration requirements.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Inspect structured cabling, CCTV, access control, BMS, AV, and related systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.</li><li>Verify installation routing, labelling, terminations, and containment systems, ensuring all work meets quality benchmarks and safety regulations.</li><li>Ensure coordination with electrical and architectural elements, liaising with other trades to resolve conflicts and optimise system integration.</li><li>Support testing, commissioning, and system integration reviews, documenting results and recommending improvements where necessary.</li><li>Maintain detailed inspection logs and raise concerns for rectification, tracking issues through to resolution.</li><li>Conduct regular site walks to identify potential issues before they impact project timelines or quality.</li><li>Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure installations align with design intent.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.</li><li>Participate in project meetings, offering insights on installation progress, challenges, and solutions.</li><li>Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, reporting any violations or concerns immediately.</li><li>Verify that all installed equipment meets specified performance criteria and is properly configured for optimal operation.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain installation schedules, ensuring timely completion of work.</li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures specific to ICT and ELV systems.</li><li>Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to ICT and ELV systems.</li><li>Prepare comprehensive reports on installation quality, progress, and any deviations from project specifications for stakeholder review.</li></ul>
