As our first hire in this function, you’ll own positioning, brand, content, and go-to-market strategy, while also establishing our public affairs and government relations approach. You’ll work closely with leadership, product, business development and industry experts to drive awareness, demand, credibility, and influence in the market.<h1>What You’ll Do</h1><h2>Brand Marketing &amp; Communications</h2><ul style=""><li>Own and evolve Earth Force’s marketing strategy, brand architecture, and messaging</li><li>Craft a coherent story across Earth Force’s various business lines, products, and brands</li><li>Create high-impact collateral including pitch decks, one-pagers, BD materials, and investor-facing content</li><li>Develop and manage content across blogs, case studies, newsletters, web copy, and owned channels</li><li>Support events, trade shows, conferences, and partnership activations</li><li>Stand up marketing systems, analytics, and reporting to measure ROI and iterate quickly</li><li>Manage PR, media relations, announcements, and external communications</li></ul><h2>Public Affairs &amp; Government Relations</h2><ul style=""><li>Build Earth Force’s public affairs strategy, including outreach to policymakers, agencies, and industry associations</li><li>Monitor relevant legislation, public policy trends, and regulatory changes that impact the business</li><li>Develop briefing materials, comment letters, policy explainers, and talking points for leadership</li><li>Cultivate relationships with government stakeholders, NGOs, and advocacy groups</li><li>Support participation in public meetings, hearings, and regulatory or standards-setting bodies</li><li>Strengthen Earth Force’s credibility with relevant government, sustainability, and climate-tech audiences </li></ul><h1>Who You Are</h1><ul style=""><li>A full-stack marketer with strong strategic judgment and the ability to roll up your sleeves</li><li>A compelling writer, communicator, and storyteller who can translate technical topics into clear, resonant narratives</li><li>Scrappy, resourceful, highly organized, and comfortable operating as a team of one</li><li>Data-driven and iterative in your approach; comfortable standing up new systems and measuring impact</li><li>Curious about technical topics, engineered materials, and emerging construction/manufacturing technologies</li><li>Able to work cross-functionally with executives, technical leaders, and BD teams, and influence without authority </li></ul><h1>What You Bring</h1><ul style=""><li>7–10+ years across marketing, communications, public affairs, government relations, or closely related fields</li><li>Experience owning both strategy and execution</li><li>Startup or early-stage experience</li><li>Experience managing PR agencies or policy/advocacy partners</li></ul><h2>Bonus Points</h2><ul style=""><li>Background in ESG, forestry, buildings, construction, timber/wood products, modular homes, or sustainability</li><li>Experience with government relations, community affairs, or policy-focused organizations</li></ul>
