The team is dedicated to delivering the highest value for its customers, partners, financial supporters and the communities in which it works, while exhibiting a strong commitment to promoting environmental stewardship and corporate responsibility.Pattern Energy operates in the United States, Canada and Latin America with offices in San Francisco, Houston, San Diego, New York, Toronto, Puerto Rico and Chile.  Pattern Energy Group's corporate headquarters are in San Francisco.<h2>Responsibilities</h2>JOB PURPOSEThe Development Associate will lend support to advancing development of Pattern’s North American renewable energy projects.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul> <li>Planning and attending meetings with a variety of project stakeholders; coordinating development activities with functional groups – finance, environmental, technical, etc.;</li> <li>Preparing and managing project budgets and schedules; managing project vendors/consultants;</li> <li>Assistance with acquiring wind and solar land rights;</li> <li>Assistance with project permitting activities and stakeholder outreach;</li> <li>Preparing presentations and other project-related materials;</li> <li>Provide project team support for power marketing activities; analysis of new project development opportunities;</li> <li>Assistance with economic analysis to support project and corporate decision-making.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREDEducational Requirements<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record and keen interest in renewable energy development.</li> <li>2-5 years of experience in renewable energy development desired.</li></ul> Required Work Experience <ul> <li>Excellent communication, and organizational skills.</li> <li>Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as required.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills.</li></ul> Technical Skills<ul> <li>Proficient in Power Point, Word and Excel.</li></ul> PATTERN ENERGY GROUP LP IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER The expected starting pay range for this role is $90,000 USD - $122,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
