El Comprador Senior deberá asegurar el surtimiento en tiempo y forma de materiales, herramientas, refacciones, servicios y equipo requerido en la empresa de acuerdo con los procedimientos, políticas y estándares establecidos. Desarrollará proveedores y buscará contratos con el objetivo de reducir costos de manera que se cumplan las metas y métricos asignados al departamento de Cadena de Suministros.Negociaciones con proveedores, enfocados en la reducción de costos sin sacrificar la calidad del producto. Elaboración de estrategias para la compra de materiales en común con otras plantas BW, procurando la mejora de precios por volumen. Desarrollo de proveedores que cumplan con los requisitos que marcan los lineamientos de BW. Identificar y mitigar los riesgos de la cadena de suministros. Monitoreo del mercado de suministros y sus tendencias. Seguimiento y apego total a los procedimiento y políticas establecidas, aplicando las mejores prácticas para el negocio. Administración de información confidencial. Asegurar el cumplimiento de los métricos del departamento.
