Responsible for evaluating customer requirements and providing technically sound and cost-effective solutions related to pumping systems. Lead preparation of proposals, technical selections, and documentation to support sales teams and secure business. Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:<ul><li>Analyze customer specifications, applications, and project requirements to recommend appropriate pump solutions.</li><li>Select pumps, materials, and accessories based on hydraulic calculations, performance data, and industry standards.</li><li>Prepare techno-commercial proposals, cost estimations, and bid documentation within defined timelines.</li><li>Coordinate with sales, design, sourcing, and manufacturing teams for accurate solution development.</li><li>Support customers with technical clarifications during bidding and proposal stages.</li><li>Review RFQs, tender documents, and ensure compliance with applicable standards.</li><li>Participate in technical discussions, presentations, and negotiations with internal/external stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain project records, pricing templates, and ensure adherence to company policies.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:<ul><li>Qualification should be bachelor’s degree in engineering ( preferable Mechanical) with 5-7years of experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of pump hydraulics, system design, and industrial applications (Water/Wastewater/Oil &amp; Gas/Process Industry).</li><li>Proficiency in pump selection tools and engineering software.</li><li>Good understanding of tendering processes and commercial terms.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-handling skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple proposals and work under deadlines.</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
