Guided by our values of Safety, Excellence, Integrity, and Growth, we’re focused on growing our business, our reputation, and the career of every teammate.<h3></h3>Main accountabilities<ul><li>Analyze samples received from final product retains, various process steps, and additional samples associated with R&amp;D projects.</li><li>Calibrate and maintain analytical equipment such as GC, HPLC, ICP-MS, FTIR etc.</li><li>Understand the various unit operations in the manufacture of 1,3-Propanediol.</li><li>Familiarity with quality systems in a regulated environment including GMP, GLP, FCC, USP requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with LIMS systems and chromatography data collection systems.  Labware LIMS and Chromperfect a plus.</li><li>Responsible for accurate data entry into SAP prior to final product release.</li><li>Assist in customer complaint investigations.</li><li>Organize and maintain the sample retainer room.</li><li>A team player that possesses strong analytical, oral/written communication and computer skills.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work in fast-paced environment/adapt to changing procedures with minimal supervision.</li></ul>Physical DemandsThis position requires the ability to safely perform the following tasks:<ul><li>Lifting of up to 55 pounds without mechanical assistance.</li><li>Climb a vertical ladder up to 15ft</li><li>Climb several flights of stairs, several times a shift</li><li>Stand for up to 1 hour without sitting</li><li>Bending and twisting motion at the waist and knees</li></ul>Ability to work a rotating shift schedule with the flexibility to work alternate schedules as needed.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. In addition, this job also operates in a professional office environment.
