Expertise should include at least several of the following technology types: HVAC, water heating, transportation, lighting, pumps, fans, motors and motor driven systems, commercial refrigeration systems, compressed air systems or others. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of equipment efficiency and system design interactions to achieve enhanced energy performance and real-world / field experience designing, installing, and/or managing these systems. The ideal candidate will also have strong communication and leadership skills and demonstrated experience working with and leading teams of engineers and other industry stakeholders on efficiency efforts related to these products and systems. A proven track record of successful codes and standards strategy development and stakeholder engagement is also desirable, including experience with state and federal codes and standards proceedings, test procedure development, and/or model codes and reach/stretch codes.
