The ideal candidate brings deep Salesforce expertise, strong leadership capability, and the ability to guide development teams through successful implementations.ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture &amp; Design<ul><li>Lead end-to-end architecture and design for Salesforce initiatives across Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, and custom applications.</li><li>Serve as the primary architect supporting the Sitetracker Enterprise Platform, including Projects, Project Templates, Sites, Jobs, Job Tasks, Smart Forms, and Trackers.</li><li>Define scalable, secure, and reusable architectural patterns aligned with enterprise standards.</li><li>Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, integration designs, and data models.</li><li>Evaluate solution alternatives, recommend the optimal approach, and present architectural decisions to technical and business stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and platform capabilities.</li></ul>Technical Leadership<ul><li>Operate as a hands-on individual contributor, owning solution architecture and technical design across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the Sitetracker Platform.</li><li>Collaborate with external development and support partners to ensure delivered solutions align with architectural standards, best practices, and enterprise requirements.</li><li>Review and validate partner-delivered designs, configurations, integrations, and code for quality, scalability, and adherence to platform limits.</li><li>Lead technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis with internal teams and external partners to resolve complex platform issues.</li><li>Produce architectural documentation, design patterns, and governance recommendations that guide both internal teams and external partners.</li></ul>Integration &amp; Data<ul><li>Architect and oversee integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, data warehouse).</li><li>Define API strategies, integration patterns, and data governance frameworks.</li><li>Develop data modeling and data migration strategies, ensuring system integrity and performance.</li></ul>Project &amp; Stakeholder Collaboration<ul><li>Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and executives to define roadmap priorities.</li><li>Act as the primary architectural point of contact for Salesforce projects across the enterprise.</li><li>Support effort estimation, solution planning, and architecture documentation.</li><li>Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and internal requirements.</li></ul>Platform Governance &amp; Optimization<ul><li>Contribute to Salesforce governance, including standards, development processes, and release management.</li><li>Monitor platform performance and recommend enhancements for scalability, maintainability, and reliability.</li><li>Champion continuous improvement and ensure effective use of Salesforce licenses, features, and capabilities.</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience Required<ul><li>5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with at least 3+ years in a Solutions Architect or Technical Architect capacity.</li><li>Proven experience designing and implementing complex, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or CPQ).</li><li>Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flow, and Salesforce configuration.</li><li>Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures).</li><li>Experience with data modeling, ETL tools, and data migration strategies.</li><li>Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Experience working in Agile environments.</li><li>Embrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek Renewables</li><li>Must be able to work on-site in Durham, NC 3 days per week.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Salesforce certifications such as:</li><ul><li>Salesforce Certified Application Architect</li><li>Salesforce Certified System Architect</li><li>Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)</li><li>Sales Cloud / Service Cloud Consultant</li><li>Platform Developer I &amp; II</li></ul><li>Knowledge of DevOps tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.</li><li>Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Salesforce environments.</li><li>Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, life sciences, or similar).</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.</li></ul>Location: The preferred location for this role is for Durham, NC or Washington DC.
