You will cover the skateboard assembly from virtual development, testing/sign-off and manufacturing launch for all Scout all-electric pick-up and rugged SUVs.</li><li>Responsible for the consistency of the CAD-Data and the Bill of Material of the skateboard.</li><li>Steering suppliers and engineering service providers.</li><li>Lead a cross functional team of production, quality, logistics and different engineering teams to enable the assembly of the SCOUT-skateboard-platform while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.</li><li>Defining requirements for the assembly process and enforce them with the suppliers and within the SCOUT-organization</li><li>Ensure designs conform to safety standards and U.S. government regulations.</li><li>Proactively stay attuned to consumer experience and propose system improvements accordingly.</li><li>Manage resources efficiently including infrastructure, financial, supplier partners and people.</li></ul>Location &amp; Travel Expectations:<ul><li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI and later relocation in Blythewood, SC..</li><li>The responsibilities of this role require 4-5 days attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. </li><li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li></ul>What you’ll bring We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
