The preferred candidate will showcase proven experience in UAS manufacturing and engineering, a comprehensive understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes, and the capacity to lead cross-functional teams. If you are diligent and eager to make a valuable contribution to a high-performing team, you could be the right fit!<h2>What you get to do</h2>You'll play a pivotal role in standing up and leading the commissioning and improvement of a new manufacturing line for UASs. Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Defining new processes and ensuring efficient integration of new products.</li><li>Coordinating assembly and integration processes, ensuring quality and safety.</li><li>Identifying assembly needs for new products and optimizing fixtures and tooling.</li><li>Generating production documentation.</li><li>Reducing variability in manufacturing with standard work methods.</li><li>Liaising with other engineers to improve production and costs.</li><li>Leading and supporting technicians and trainee engineers.</li><li>Implementing FMEAs and process improvements.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><h2>What you bring to the Team</h2><ul><li>Established track record in UAS manufacturing and engineering.</li><li>A 4-year degree in Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Ability to develop detailed work instructions and inspection criteria.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach.</li><li>Experience in training others and leading cross-functional teams.</li><li>Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.</li><li>Basic knowledge of electronics and proficiency with CAD software and MS Office.</li><li>Strong documentation and technical writing skills.</li><li>Experience with FMEA and lean continuous improvement tools.</li></ul>The BIG payoffWe are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operateRe:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
