You’ll manage some of our most strategic partners, championing what we do and why we do it.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">A passion for improving the partner experience is essential - as are strong relationship building skills and a commercial mindset.</span></div><br><br><h3>What you'll do</h3><ul><li><b>Develop and execute the partner channel strategy</b> for your assigned vertical, aligned to business goals (e.g. benefits providers, financial service organisations, banks).</li><li><b>Source, recruit, and onboard new partners</b> - identifying and securing long-term, commercially valuable relationships.</li><li><b>Enable and grow existing partnerships</b> - build trusted, senior-level relationships to maximise performance, engagement, and mutual value.</li><li><b>Drive partner activity</b> - create joint go-to-market initiatives, campaigns, and events that deepen partner engagement and deliver commercial results.</li><li><b>Collaborate with internal teams</b> (Product, Marketing, and Business Development) to design propositions, marketing assets, and enablement materials that support partner success.</li><li><b>Own your pipeline</b> from opportunity identification to in-life management, maintaining accurate records in CRM and reporting progress to the wider business.</li><li><b>Lead strategic relationship management</b> - host quarterly business reviews, share monthly reports, and provide partners with actionable insights and performance feedback.</li><li><b>Represent Octopus externally</b> - attend industry conferences, networking events, and partner activations to champion our mission and expand our reach.</li><li><b>Contribute to continuous improvement</b> - share partner and market insights to shape future propositions and drive growth across B2B and emerging B2C channels.</li></ul><h3>What you'll need</h3><ul><li><b>Proven track record of sourcing and winning new partners</b> - from identifying prospects and building senior relationships through to negotiation, contracting, and onboarding.</li><li>Proven ability to <b>manage a variety of multi-year senior partnerships</b>, balancing strategic relationship-building with hands-on commercial delivery.</li><li>A strong, <b>commercially driven mindset</b> and the ability to identify, assess, and negotiate high-value opportunities that align with business goals.</li><li>Excellent <b>verbal and written communication skills</b>, able to influence and build credibility with diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Experience using <b>partner engagement and marketing tools</b> (e.g. CRM, partner portals, co-marketing campaigns, content enablement).</li><li><b>Pipeline management expertise</b> – structured, disciplined approach to managing outreach, reporting, and stakeholder communication.</li><li>Comfortable working <b>autonomously and proactively</b> while collaborating effectively across teams - a true self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</li><li>Experience working with legal teams on contracts and multi-year deals is a plus (training can be provided).</li><li>Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to shifting priorities.</li><li>Experience or networks in financial services, fintech, employee benefits, or automotive sectors would be beneficial but not essential.</li></ul><h3>Why else you'll love it here </h3><ul><li>💰 Wondering what the salary for this role is?
