Our work improves mobility, resilience, clean water access, and community connectivity across Canada.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in the design of tunnels using TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) and SEM (Sequential Excavation Methods), under the guidance of senior engineers.</li><li>Use commercial software tools (e.g., Finite Element or Distinct Element software) to conduct basic structural and geotechnical analyses.</li><li>Develop and verify calculations for structural and geotechnical verifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.</li><li>Provide input on soil and rock mechanics, ground-structure interactions, and underground engineering principles to support project teams.</li><li>Assist in preparing technical inputs for tunnel proposals, including methodologies and techniques.</li><li>Contribute to the design of SOE systems for shafts, pump stations, and cut-and-cover structures.</li><li>Participate in Health &amp; Safety (H&amp;S) reviews, constructability assessments, and risk management planning.</li><li>Support the preparation of design reports, technical specifications, and drawings.</li><li>Work closely with other engineers, professionals, and clients to ensure project alignment and integration.</li></ul>
