AECOM is seeking a skilled CAD/MicroStation Technician for our New York/New Jersey office. The ideal candidate has a strong drafting and design background, with proficiency in relevant software. This role prepares design documents for engineering projects including highways, bridges, flood-control systems, and tunnels.The CAD Technician will be responsible for the following essential duties:<ul><li>Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using Bentley and Autodesk software.</li><li> Develop plans, sections, elevations and details for projects of all sizes and technical complexities.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.</li><li>Transform rough initial designs and mark-ups into finished working documents.</li><li>Draft detailed drawings of structures and installations.</li><li>Review engineering drawings to ensure adherence to established standards.</li><li>Compute volumes of excavations and fill for earthmoving projects.</li><li>Assist designers and senior technicians with the preparation of engineering drawing package.</li></ul>
