Every day brings variety: developing specs and sizing calculations, creating single-line diagrams and cable schedules, reviewing vendor data, guiding installation and commissioning, and using structured problem-solving to drive quality improvements.How you’ll make an impact<ul><li>Design auxiliary power systems for HVDC converter stations end-to-end.</li><li>Specify and size auxiliary transformers, MV/LV switchgear, UPS, batteries, diesel gensets, and cables.</li><li>Produce single-line diagrams, cable schedules, equipment layouts, and grounding/EMC instructions.</li><li>Lead technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and multi-disciplinary internal teams.</li><li>Review and integrate vendor documentation with civil, mechanical, and system designs.</li><li>Perform load flow, short-circuit, and selectivity studies for auxiliary networks.</li><li>Support site engineering, FAT, installation supervision, and commissioning with strong HSE focus.</li><li>Identify risks and opportunities; drive structured corrective actions using Lean and Six Sigma tools.</li><li>Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.</li></ul>Your background<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering and minimum of 8 years of related experience with 5 years’ experience within auxiliary power system design, installation, and commissioning.</li><li>Experience in design, preparation, and review of indoor/outdoor electrical equipment layouts and cable routing for substations and utilities.</li><li>Experience in design, preparation, and review of sizing calculations and design documents for auxiliary equipment.</li><li>Professional engineering competence.
