To play our role in reaching this vision, we challenge the forces driving climate and ecological collapse, mobilise communities with knowledge and tangible action, and build a world beyond destruction rooted in care, regeneration, and liberation—where people, justice, and ecosystems thrive.<ul><li>Global reach Each year, our educational content reaches hundreds of millions of people worldwide, translating climate and ecological science into accessible, action-oriented storytelling.</li><li>Trusted partnerships We hold formal relationships with movements including the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty and Make Polluters Pay, alongside scientists, activists, and grassroots groups across the globe.</li><li>Grassroots leadership development We run a regular community school that trains cohorts of 50 people at a time, deepening their understanding and equipping them to launch change-making projects in their own communities.</li><li>Education to action Our work prioritises mobilisation over awareness, consistently moving people from learning into organising, campaigning, and real-world action.</li></ul><h3>The opportunity</h3>We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on, enthusiastic Relationships Manager to join our small and growing team!&nbsp;You will be a key connector between the Earthly team and our external partners and relationships, building and nurturing existing relationships, and creating new ones. We’re excited to bring on board someone who will help us to ensure continuity and follow-through for our partners, relationships, and wider community.<h3>Key responsibilities</h3><ul><li>understanding partner needs and developing plans to grow existing partnerships</li><li>identifying new partnership opportunities, researching key staff in potential partner organisations and reaching out to form new relationships</li><li>securing new business partnerships between Earthly and aligned organisations</li><li>reliably tracking tasks, requests, and deadlines, ensuring communication is timely and commitments are carried through</li><li>independently and proactively checking in to make sure projects are on track</li><li>developing and maintaining internal processes for managing relationships</li><li>supporting the founders in building and maintaining funder relationships</li><li>building relationships with aligned voices and activists within the climate, nature and justice movements</li></ul><h3>Must haves</h3><ul><li>strong communication skills, including fluent spoken English and polished written grammar</li><li>a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills</li><li>confident bridging external partners and internal workflows</li><li>comfortable following up when responses are slow or things stall</li><li>able to hold multiple moving pieces without dropping details</li><li>sound judgement and ability to prioritise when to push or pause relationships</li><li>excited by finding new opportunities for working with existing or new partners</li><li>aligned with Earthly’s values and ways of working</li><li>confident working with a large, ever-growing network (100+ people)</li></ul><h3>Nice to haves</h3><ul><li>based in the Global South</li><li>a track record of maintaining and creating partnerships</li><li>experience working as part of a remote team</li><li>previous roles in startups or purpose-driven organisations (especially in climate &amp; nature)</li><li>experience developing partnership strategies, pipelines, or frameworks</li><li>experience managing databases</li><li>familiarity with collaborative platforms (e.g. Discord, Google Workspace)</li><li>experience or knowledge of funding and investment</li><li>some overlap with Australia timezones</li></ul><h3>How we work &amp; benefits</h3>Our work is built on trust, respect, and collective liberation. We have a small team of 8, working remotely and supporting each other wherever we can. We operate as a Worker-Self Directed Nonprofit, meaning more shared responsibilities and equal power. As an early stage organisation, we currently engage all team members as independent contractors. If future funding allows, there may be opportunities to transition to employee roles.
