<div> About the role BURN is seeking a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the production process. The role involves overseeing the activities of production workers, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring that products are manufactured in accordance with quality and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities <ul style="margin-bottom:30px;"><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Provide training in the line for the operators. This could be training for new recruits, refresher training for current operators or training on a new line for existing operators.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Work closely with QC to help troubleshoot causes of quality issues in the line.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Ensure output meets the hourly targets.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Ensure all operators are as effective as possible and working to the Standard Operating Procedures.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Work closely with the team leaders to ensure targets for the day are met.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Help in data collection and communication channels as applicable.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Ensure PPEs are well used and in good order.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Stand in for any absenteeism in the lines.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Coordination and manning night shifts where necessary.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Ensuring daily operations are updated in the appropriate systems and logs.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Work on continuous improvement actions to close to improve productivity, safety and quality.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Should have basic knowledge of electronics.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Maintain proper 5S into the factory.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Should be able to create production orders and stock take for all FG and raw materials available on the production floor.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Should also have experience in handling warehouse operators.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Follow up with the maintenance team to ensure fast response to breakdowns.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Any other duties as assigned by the manager.</li></ul>Skills and Experience<ul style="margin-bottom:30px;"><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">At least 2 – 3 years of experience in the same field.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Should have knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint  presentation, and AutoCAD will be an added advantage</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Should have experience working with an ERP system.</li><li style="margin-bottom:30px;margin-left:8px;">Should be able to speak English and Portuguese.</li></ul>                                                 Qualified Female Candidates encouraged to Apply BURN does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, meeting, processing, training, or any other fees).     </div>
