Job Description:The Product Applications Construction Manager oversees R&amp;D construction and fieldtesting for new and current product qualifications, ensuring high-quality standards andproviding exceptional onsite technical field support. This role requires constantcollaboration with all Nextpower product R&amp;D departments to ensure exceptional productqualification results.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide onsite technical support for Nextpower’s product engineering departments</li><li>Take ownership of personal and team safety while on Nextpower R&amp;D sites, andcustomer project sites.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all Nextpower policies, procedures, and safety standards.</li><li>Acquire and maintain advanced knowledge of PV solar tracking systems and relatedtools.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams including project management, engineering,quality, and applications.</li><li>Review construction documentation for accuracy and alignment with project plans.</li><li>Provide consistent project reporting, including daily updates and weekly statussummaries.</li><li>Conduct and participate in internal R&amp;D construction management meetings.</li><li>Provide construction training for all new and current Product Applications FieldEngineers.</li><li>Coordinate weekly scheduling and site logistics with R&amp;D Project Managers.</li><li>Escalate critical issues to the Product Applications Manager as needed.</li><li>Support hydraulic and battery tool maintenance for installation tasks.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience: <ul><li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction management.</li><li>Strong technical understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.</li><li>Proficient in the use of heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, bobcats, scissor lifts).</li><li>Familiarity with specialty construction tools.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Strong foundation in construction math and analytical problem solving.</li><li>Proven leadership and team management abilities.</li><li>Excellent client relationship management skills.</li><li>Ability to deliver R&amp;D projects on time and within budget.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.</li><li>Committed to safe working practices.</li><li>Willing and able to travel when needed.</li><li>Prior solar industry experience is highly desirable.</li><li>Cal OSHA-30 certified.</li><li>CPR, First Aid &amp; AED certified.</li></ul>Work Environment: <ul><li>Nextpower R&amp;D field sites.
