Your responsibilities will span across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering domains to ensure robust product validation. You’ll be involved in the design of testers for implementation in manufacturing as well as field settings to screen our products. This role requires a hands-on, proactive attitude paired with a methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving.If necessary, we will adjust the job level to suit your experience and responsibilities.  Responsibilities will include: <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Develop and implement manufacturing &amp; field testers for a new electromechanical product </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to develop test coverage, define metrics, align on hardware and firmware features for manufacturing testing implementation </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Debug and root cause issues found in manufacturing test </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Design and develop manufacturing test hardware that may include functional and system power tests </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Lead tester builds and validation efforts such as GRR and SAT </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Work with firmware &amp; software teams to develop test automation, self-test, and data analysis </li></ul> Desired Qualifications: <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">5+ years of technical experience in manufacturing test engineering or a related role</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Experience working with high-voltage systems (400–2000VDC and 480-800VAC)</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Deep technical expertise in at least one aspect of test engineering, with comfort working across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software)</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Experience working in a high volume manufacturing environment </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Direct experience with battery testers or characterization tools </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Experience developing scalable tools, infrastructure, and design practices for test engineering teams</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">A get-it-done attitude; no job is too big or too small</li></ul>Physical Requirements:  <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards </li></ul>Working Conditions:  <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Environment, such as office or outdoors</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to work in challenging working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, while protected by PPE, for extended periods of time</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, stooping, or typing</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Occasional work weekends, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Occasional travel requirements as needed</li></ul>   <div><div><div>In accordance with California pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is listed below.
