As a member of the DERs team, you will assist distributed generation and/or community solar companies interested in participating in the Illinois Shines Program, an incentive program that encourages state-wide adoption of solar energy. Solar energy is critical in driving our nation’s progress toward a decarbonized grid, and you will play a material role in helping our team make this future a reality. This unique market opportunity, paired with Energy Solutions’ mission- driven approach, creates an ideal environment for individuals who want to have an active voice in shaping the energy future.  The person filling this role will be required to work in a hybrid work environment in our Chicago, IL office and expected to be in the office a minimum of once a week.  Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: <ul><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Maintain current knowledge of program guidelines and procedures. </li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Respond to program inquiries via telephone and email in a timely, professional, helpful, and courteous manner.</li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Work with distributed generation and/or community solar companies (both over the phone and via email) on their program registrations and annual renewal applications.  </li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Document, review, follow up on an approved registrations and renewal applications received. </li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Use general knowledge, program guidebook, data stored in knowledge-base, and other sources of information to answer registrant questions and/or resolve issues. </li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Forward inquiries to appropriate parties when not able to resolve and maintain ownership by tracking and following up to ensure resolution.</li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Participate in video conference calls, including presenting to the client.</li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Manage or contribute to ad hoc projects.</li></ul> Minimum qualifications:  <ul><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Bachelor’s degree preferred.</li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience. </li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Competency with technical topics.</li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Strong writing and verbal communication skills. </li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM preferred. </li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Ability to function as a team player and multi-task between various projects to help meet and exceed program goals.</li><li style="font-size:14pt;font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;">Experience using Microsoft Office.</li></ul> The salary range for this role is $60,000–$70,000/annually with a target compensation of $66,500/annually based on experience and qualifications<div>Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package.
