Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you'll take on accounting projects that will challenge and grow your skills. You'll learn essential tasks like preparing journal entries, reconciling the general ledger, and managing bank activity. Plus, you'll play a key role in preparing financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders. If you're eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges, we’d love to have you on board!</p><h2><strong>Responsibilities and Duties  </strong></h2><ul><li>Assist Accounts Payable with invoice processing and expense reimbursements in line with FP&amp;A guidelines</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues on special projects and initiatives</li><li>Learn and assist Finance and cross-functional teams on initiatives such as month-end close, Flux analysis and account reconciliations</li><li>Conduct research on emerging accounting issues or new regulations to ensure compliance and best practices are followed</li><li>Respond to financial investor requests on time</li></ul><h2><strong>Knowledge and Skill Requirements </strong></h2><ul><li>Familiarity with basic accounting concepts. Relevant coursework in accounting, finance or economics preferred</li><li>Experience with or willingness to learn technology such as Sage, Coupa, and Google Suite preferred</li><li>High level functioning within spreadsheets using Excel, Powerpoint, etc to drive efficiency </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Detail oriented, with a focus on producing high-quality and error-free outputs</li><li>High degree of professionalism and integrity, with an understanding of the importance of confidentiality when dealing with financial data.</li></ul><h2><strong>Physical Demands and Working Conditions</strong></h2><ul><li>Ability to work at our Alameda Headquarters</li><li>Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location</li></ul><p> </p><p>The starting base pay for this role is between $25/hr and $39/hr at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills.
