ESS Project Manager - Finland

Your mission We are seeking an experienced and strategic&nbsp;ESS Regional Project Manager - Finland&nbsp;&nbsp;to lead our&nbsp;Energy Storage Systems (ESS)&nbsp;business in Sungrow Europe. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring ESS projects are delivered successfully and high-level customer engagement with team leadership and is central to our expansion in a high-priority growth market. They combine organizational skills, leadership, and strategic thinking to drive results. Your main responsibilities will include:&nbsp; &nbsp;1.&nbsp;Project Planning&nbsp; <ul><li>Define BESS project scope (S,A,B level), goals, and deliverables &nbsp;different stages:&nbsp;</li><li>Develop detailed project plans, timelines (Gantt charts, schedules), and budgets. &nbsp;</li><li>Identify risks and create mitigation strategies. &nbsp;</li></ul> 2. Team Coordination &amp; Leadership <ul><li>Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members. &nbsp;</li><li>Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams (commercial, service, product solution, contract &amp;l egal, finance etc.). &nbsp;</li><li>Motivate and guide the team to meet deadlines. &nbsp;</li></ul> 3. Stakeholder Communication <ul><li>Act as the main point of contact for clients, executives, and team members. &nbsp;</li><li>Provide regular progress updates (status reports, meetings). &nbsp;</li><li>Organize regular meeting with key stakeholders and report to internal and external parties.</li><li>Manage expectations and negotiate changes when necessary. &nbsp;</li></ul> 4. Project payment &amp; Resource Management&nbsp; <ul><li>Track project payment milestone and ensure adherence to the program &amp; deadline. &nbsp;</li><li>Allocate resources efficiently (manpower, tools, materials).</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp; 5. Risk &amp; Issue Management&nbsp; <ul><li>Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans. &nbsp;</li><li>Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that hinder progress. &nbsp;</li></ul> 6. Quality Assurance &amp; Delivery&nbsp; <ul><li>Ensure deliverables meet quality standards. &nbsp;</li><li>Conduct post-project reviews (lessons learned, performance analysis).</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>2-3+ years in project management leadership within&nbsp;energy storage, renewables, or technical infrastructure&nbsp;sectors</li><li>Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset</li><li>Proven experience managing teams and&nbsp;developing customers’ relationship</li><li>Skilled in&nbsp;solution-based project management, with strong contract negotiation ability</li><li>Fluent&nbsp;English and Finnish&nbsp;(minimum C1 level)</li><li>Willing to&nbsp;travel 40-50%&nbsp;of the time</li></ul>&nbsp; Project Manager Certifications: <ul><li>PMP (Project Management Professional) – PMI &nbsp;</li><li>PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments)</li><li>CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) – Entry-level</li></ul> Why us?
