AECOM Buildings + Place, is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to help lead buildings projects (commercial, institutional, light industrial facilities, such as Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and Sewage Lift Stations) This position can be based out of Ottawa office with opportunities for hybrid work. Project assignments may include, although not limited to: Municipal, Commercial, Institutional projects, Justice, Education and Government.  Major Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Lead a team in the preparation of  engineering designs related to heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, and light industrial facilities projects such as Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, and Sewage Lift Stations.</li><li>Direct and manage delivery teams</li><li>Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.</li><li>Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.</li><li>Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.</li><li>Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&amp;E package.</li><li>Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.</li><li>Prepares technical specification sections.</li><li>Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.</li></ul> <ul></ul>
