1. Position OverviewThe Project Manager will lead and coordinate consultancy assignments for renewable energy projects covering solar, wind, and hybrid systems, from pre-development through financial close, construction monitoring (desk-based), commissioning, COD, and O&amp;M advisory. The role focuses on managing project delivery, client engagement, multidisciplinary teams, and technical/ commercial workstreams. The Project Manager ensures high-quality outputs aligned with AFRY methodologies, client expectations, and international best practices.2. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Lead and manage consultancy assignments across all project phases (pre-development, feasibility, design review, procurement, construction monitoring, commissioning, COD, and early O&amp;M).</li><li>Develop project execution plans, schedules, communication protocols, and risk registers.</li><li>Coordinate AFRY’s internal experts (engineering, environmental, grid, business development).</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of all project milestones, reports, and technical assessments.</li><li>Manage project budgets, manpower forecasts, resource allocation, and invoicing progress.</li></ul>Client &amp; Stakeholder Management<ul><li>Serve as primary point of contact for developers, lenders, EPCs, OEMs.</li><li>Facilitate technical–commercial discussions, progress meetings, and clarification workshops.</li><li>Present AFRY’s findings, risks, recommendations, and due-diligence outcomes to clients.</li><li>Support business development through proposals, bids, scope definition, and client relationship management.</li></ul>Technical Oversight (Desk-Based)<ul><li>Review project documentation such as feasibility studies, design packages, permits, EPC and O&amp;M contracts, specifications, compliance matrices, and risk registers.</li><li>Oversee AFRY’s design review comments, technical due diligence findings, EPC/ OEM assessments, and construction progress evaluations.</li><li>Track construction progress using contractor reports, schedules, QA/QC documentation.</li><li>Assess readiness for commissioning, COD, performance testing, and operational transitions.</li></ul>Quality Assurance &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>Ensure AFRY’s deliverables follow internal governance, technical standards, and industry good practice.</li><li>Identify project risks related to schedule, design, procurement, interfaces, regulatory compliance, and financing; develop mitigation strategies.</li><li>Support internal audits, consistency checks, and peer reviews on technical deliverables.</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare and review LTA reports, technical due diligence reports, progress certificates, memos, and project correspondence.</li><li>Summarize complex technical findings into clear, concise, and professional narrative for clients.</li><li>Maintain traceable project documentation, decisions, and communication records.</li></ul>
