Join our team.What you’ll doAs an Inspection Technician, you will support the development, optimization, and scaling of end-of-line manufacturing processes for advanced magnetic materials. This role involves:Inspection<ul><li>Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of magnets and assemblies.</li><li>Verify compliance with specifications using precision measurement tools.</li></ul>Assembly<ul><li>Assemble magnetic components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.</li><li>Handle adhesives, fixtures, and specialized tools for magnet integration.</li></ul>Cleaning &amp; Packaging<ul><li>Remove debris and contaminants from magnets prior to shipment.</li><li>Package magnets securely for storage or delivery, following safety and quality standards.</li></ul>Reliability Testing<ul><li>Perform functional and durability tests on magnets and assemblies.</li><li>Document test results and report any deviations or failures.</li></ul>Quality &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain accurate records of inspections, assemblies, cleaning, and test results.</li><li>Follow all safety and quality protocols.</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>Collaborate closely with Engineers to improve magnet handling and machining techniques.</li><li>Support development and refinement of magnet processes from start to finish.</li><li>Assist in the application of magnet coatings and related automation technologies.</li><li>Assist with equipment specification and integration for machining, assembly, coating, packaging, and automation processes.</li><li>Create and update process documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and preventative maintenance procedures.</li><li>Adhere to and promote safety procedures in all work areas.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment at all times.</li></ul>What we’re looking for:<ul><li>High School diploma or GED</li><li>Experience in a collaborative production environment</li><li>Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 lb.</li><li>Ability to self-direct and meet deadlines</li><li>Strong interpersonal, prioritization, and organizational skills</li><li>Experience maintaining equipment and workspace cleanliness</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint</li></ul>Nice to have:<ul><li>Prior coating experience</li><li>Surface prep, taping, masking, and mixing chemicals</li><li>Experience with adhesives and adhesion properties</li><li>Attention to detail for defects and root cause analysis</li><li>Experience with reliability or environmental testing (temperature, vibration, etc.)</li><li>Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting</li></ul>Our pay and benefits:<ul><li>Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and skills</li><li>Equity position in Niron via stock option grant</li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Mental healthcare</li><li>401k plan with company match</li><li>Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays</li><li>Experience in a fun, high-performing, manufacturing environment</li></ul>
