This position will train for the first 8-12 weeks on the 1st Shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift.Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Build opto-mechanical assemblies by using assembly drawings and assembly procedures</li><li>Work with assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, height gages, and dial indicators</li><li>Support of optical alignment and testing of optical systems</li><li>Document actions by completing checklists</li><li>Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations</li><li>Generate work order material kits using printed bills of material (BOM)</li><li>General lab maintenance as necessary</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li>Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of assembly experience required</li><li>Ability to read complex assembly drawings and process instructions</li><li>Independent worker, requiring little to no supervision</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues</li><li>Experience using standard hand tools – Allen wrenches, screw drivers, torque wrenches, etc.</li><li>Familiarity with computers as applicable to manufacturing</li><li>Possess a solid, quality minded work ethic and strong attention to detail</li><li>Interface in a collaborative manner to foster effective and inspiring group dynamics</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods, often for most of the workday</li><li>Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, often up to 50 pounds, though the frequency of lifting heavier objects varies]</li></ul>Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce  Salary Range: $42,800.00-$57,100.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
