You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to deliver certified data models, reports, and dashboards that support enterprise reporting and advanced analytics.<h2>Core Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.</li><li>Collaborate with senior engineers to architect cloud-based data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure SQL.</li><li>Integrate data from SAP ERP and other enterprise systems into modern cloud data platforms.</li><li>Use Databricks and Apache Spark to process and optimize large-scale data workflows.</li><li>Partner with business and analytics stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency.</li><li>Support the creation of certified datasets, data models, reports, and dashboards for analytics and machine learning use cases.</li><li>Apply data governance, security, and compliance best practices across data pipelines.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, performance, and workflow issues.</li><li>Contribute to CI/CD processes for deploying and managing data workflows and infrastructure.</li></ul><h2></h2>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.</li><li>3–5 years of experience in data engineering or a closely related role.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Databricks.</li><li>Strong SQL and Python skills for data engineering and pipeline development.</li><li>Experience working with Azure Data Lake or similar cloud-based distributed storage solutions.</li><li>Understanding of data modeling concepts, including star and snowflake schemas.</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.</li><li>Basic working knowledge of Apache Spark.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Experience integrating data from SAP ERP systems.</li><li>Azure Data Engineering certification.</li><li>Exposure to analytics or machine learning data use cases.</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
