We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What you’ll do:<ul><li>Design and build reliable automated test equipment to conduct functional tests on PCBAs or modules.</li><li>Work together with Design Engineers, System Engineers, and Reliability Engineers to Identify design critical operating modes and create design validation test plans.</li><li>Work with test technicians to build validation test setups and execute test plans and teardowns.</li><li>Investigate device failures to determine root cause and drive product improvements.</li><li>Identify and plan critical tests to validate new technologies.  </li></ul> What you’ll need:<ul><li>Bachelor or MS degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering.</li><li>2+ years of experience with physical testing and analysis of mechanical or electronic systems against detailed requirements. </li><li>2+ years of direct automation design and build experience (automated testing, manufacturing, robotics, industrial etc.)</li><li>Experience leading and driving technical projects to completion.</li><li>Good understanding of electrical circuit design and  power electronics.</li><li>Experience with Python or NI(LabVIEW, TestStand, or VeriStand).</li><li>Experience with electrical test equipment, hand tools, power tools. </li></ul> Bonus Qualifications:<ul><li>2+ years of experience with component, system, or vehicle validation testing (FAA DO160, Biomedical FDA testing, or equivalent) </li><li>Good electrical engineering background (active circuit design, power electronics, digital circuits, motor drives, signal measurement and conditioning)</li><li>Experience working with interdisciplinary teams across an organization.</li><li>Strong communicator and presenter of technical content.</li><li>Experience using CAD software to create basic fixtures.</li><li>Experience with HV systems and safety.</li><li>Experience with integrated system communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, RS485 etc.)</li></ul>Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualificationsAt Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
